Clean Vehicle Europe Portal
The Clean Vehicle Portal aims to ensure a level of demand for clean and energy-efficient road transport vehicles and encourage manufacturers to invest in development of vehicles with low energy consumption, CO2 emissions and pollutant emissions. It offers access to a large and innovative database system of vehicle data which allows the user to achieve comparable listings of vehicles in order to search terms and procurement requirements and collect individual selections in personal watch lists.

PROCEED - Principles of successful high quality public transport operation and development
The PROCEED project was officially finished in January 2010. All findings of the research conducted within PROCEED have been synthesised to produce the "Guidelines for High Quality Public Transport". These practical guidelines include the most important experiences and have been designed to help decision makers, public transport planners and operators to efficiently and effectively develop, upgrade, finance and manage urban bus systems and related mobility services.

This website, supported by the European Union, provides a single source of information on Low Emission Zones across Europe. Low Emission Zones (LEZs) are areas or roads where the most polluting vehicles are restricted from entering. This means that vehicles are banned, or in some cases charged, if they enter the LEZ when their emissions are over a set level. They are also know as Environment Zones, Umweltzonen, Milieuzones, Lavutslippssone, Miljozone, Miljözon.

The Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) action plan
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) can significantly contribute to a cleaner, safer and more efficient transport system. A new legal framework ( Directive 2010/40/EU) was adopted on 7 July 2010 to accelerate the deployment of these innovative transport technologies across Europe. This Directive is an important instrument for the coordinated implementation of ITS in Europe. It aims to establish interoperable and seamless ITS services while leaving Member States the freedom to decide which systems to invest in.
